Brie has over a decade of experience in early childhood education and care, with a background spanning primary teaching, early intervention literacy support and early childhood program development. She has taught across a range of primary schools in Victoria and has extensive experience supporting young children as they build the foundational skills, confidence and curiosity needed for a positive start to school.

Alongside her teaching experience, Brie has coordinated projects driving positive change across the early childhood sector at a national not-for-profit organisation, deepening her understanding of how children learn, develop and thrive.

As the Founding Director of Little Big School, Brie previously created and delivered a holistic play-based school readiness program designed to support children’s development through meaningful, hands-on learning experiences. Today, she leads the design, creation and production of Little Big School’s At Home Kits and Bookish Play Packs - carefully crafting each experience from the first idea through to the finished pack that arrives at your door.

With her expertise as an Early Childhood Teacher, Brie ensures every activity is intentionally designed to be developmentally appropriate, engaging and purposeful - blending learning goals with the magic of play. She is passionate about helping families create meaningful learning moments at home and giving children the opportunity to learn, explore and grow through experiences they genuinely love.
