Physical At Home Kits
What is a Physical At Home Kit?
Our Physical At Home Kits are thoughtfully designed by an Early Childhood Teacher and Pediatric Occupational Therapist to make meaningful learning through play simple, engaging and achievable at home.
Each themed kit includes four colour-coded Adventure Bags, filled with hands-on activities supporting early literacy and numeracy, social-emotional development, fine and gross motor skills, mindfulness and so much more. Every activity is intentionally linked to the monthly theme and designed to nurture your child’s development through play.
What’s included in each kit?
Each monthly kit includes:
✓ 4 colour-coded Adventure Bags (one for each week)
✓ 12+ hands-on learning activities including sensory play, crafts, literacy and numeracy games, yoga, mindfulness and social-emotional activities
✓ Almost all materials needed to complete the activities (just add a few basics like scissors and glue)
✓ Step-by-step activity cards
✓ Teacher and OT tips to support you along the way
✓ Ideas to simplify or extend each activity
We also collaborate with other small businesses each month, carefully selecting thoughtful, play-based resources that bring each theme to life in meaningful and engaging ways. Depending on the theme, this may include sensory bases, potion fizz experiences, playdough, peg dolls, eco-friendly cutters, busy bags and other unique resources created to inspire curiosity, creativity and open-ended play.
How do the monthly kits work?
Each month we release a brand-new themed learning adventure. Pre-orders open at the beginning of the month, with kits prepared and shipped or ready for collection by around the middle of the following month.
This preparation window allows us to thoughtfully create each pack, source special resources, print activity materials, and carefully prepare every Adventure Bag so your kit arrives ready to enjoy.
Once your kit arrives, simply open one Adventure Bag each week (or whenever works best for your family), follow the activity cards and enjoy meaningful learning through play together.
How do the subscription and one-off kits work?

Our one-off kits allow families to choose their favourite themes whenever they’re available.
Our subscriptions enable families to secure ongoing access to our monthly learning kits at the best value every month.
Our subscription is linked to our latest monthly release. Each month, the newest themed kit becomes available for subscription, allowing us to prepare materials, process payments and create each kit with care.
We always prepare a limited number of extra kits where possible, which may remain available as one-off purchases while stocks last. To avoid missing out, we recommend ordering during the pre-order window.
Who are the kits suitable for?
Our Kits are designed for curious little learners aged approximately 3-6 years who love to explore, create and discover.
They’re perfect for families who want to support their child’s development through play but may not always have the time, energy or confidence to plan meaningful learning experiences themselves (we feel you!).

What ages are the kits designed for?
Our Virtual At Home Learning Kits are designed for children approximately 3-6 years old, with activities that can be adapted to suit your child’s interests and stage of development.
Do I need a printer, and does my child need to use a screen?
A printer is recommended for the best experience with our Virtual At Home Learning Kits, as many of the activity cards, templates and resources are designed to be printed and used during play.
While the kit is delivered digitally, the learning itself is completely screen-free. Your child will enjoy hands-on activities, creative experiences and purposeful play -with you using the digital guide to prepare and support the learning along the way.

Each pack includes a collection of story-inspired activities and resources designed to extend the book beyond reading and encourage hands-on exploration.
Depending on the theme, packs may include:

Do I need to own the book?
For the best experience, we recommend enjoying your Bookish Play Pack alongside the featured story. Reading the book together creates the foundation for the story-inspired play experiences and helps your child make deeper connections through imagination, language and creativity.
You can use a copy you already own, borrow it from your local library, or add the book to your order so everything arrives ready for your story-inspired adventure.
Are Bookish Play Packs available all year round?
Our Bookish Play Packs are separate from our monthly At Home Learning Kits and are released as limited edition, small-batch collections throughout the year.
Designed by Early Childhood Teachers and Allied Health professionals, each release is carefully planned around a much-loved story and thoughtfully selected resources to create a meaningful, story-inspired learning experience.
Because every pack is carefully prepared and made with love, we create limited quantities at a time. If a pack sells out, we will do a small batch restock - so if you’ve missed out on a favourite, let us know and we’ll do our best to get one ready for you as soon as possible.
Many resources are handmade, such as our lovingly hand-painted peg dolls and specially created play pieces, so restocks may require a little extra time.
